Utah Lake offers numerous access points around its 150+ mile shoreline. From fully developed state park facilities to undeveloped shore access, there's an entry point for every type of angler. This page provides an overview of all public access points organized by area.

East Shore Access

Utah Lake State Park

The most developed access point. Boat ramps (4 lanes), fishing pier, campground, restrooms, picnic areas. Day-use fee: $15/vehicle. See our State Park page for complete details.

Provo Boat Harbor

Boat ramp (2 lanes), pier/breakwall fishing, parking, restrooms. Good shore and boat access to east basin. See spot details.

North Shore Access

American Fork Harbor

Boat ramp, shore fishing from harbor walls, parking, restrooms, picnic areas. Popular north-shore access. See spot details.

West Shore Access

Lincoln Beach

Boat ramp (1 lane, gravel/concrete), extensive shore access. Less developed but less crowded. Free access. Water level dependent. See spot details.

Saratoga Springs Shore

Developing area with multiple shore access points. Limited facilities. Check access conditions before visiting. See spot details.

South Shore Access

Goshen Bay

Remote access with basic boat ramp (gravel). Limited facilities. Less fishing pressure. See spot details.

Access Tips

• Check water levels before visiting west and south shore access points — low water can make them inaccessible.
• Day-use fees apply at the state park and some harbors. Annual passes save money if you fish frequently.
• Arrive early on summer weekends — popular access points fill up by mid-morning.
• ADA access is best at Utah Lake State Park, which has an accessible pier and facilities.
